Until the beginning of the 18th century this large room was the stateroom of the Carletti Counts. With a surface area of 53 m2 (590 square feet), it has a vaulted frescoed ceiling (ceiling height in excess of 5.5 m), oil-treated wooden floor and lime plaster walls (all natural products).

Overlooking the Main Street in the heart of Montepulciano’s historic centre, the room boasts the only balcony on this side of the Building.

Shades of gold predominate throughout.

The room has a lounge area, a 180 x 200 cm (72” x 80”) king-sized bed and a bathroom decorated with hand-made glass mosaic tiles and Venetian plasterwork. The Carletti Suite also boasts an exclusive Turkish bath (hammam) with shower and starry lighting effect for your ultimate privacy and relaxation.
