BY CAR

Driving from Florence (A1, exit Val di Chiana):

Highway A1, exit Val di Chiana-Bettolle.
Turn left (Montepulciano), through Bettolle and Torrita di Siena.
At the traffic light in Torrita, turn left (Montepulciano) and continue until you reach a roundabout with signs for Montepulciano Via Nottola and Montepulciano.
Turn right, following signs for Montepulciano.
After about 7 km, the road ends as a T junction, turn right and continue towards the city.
At the roundabout with traffic lights, proceed as follows:
- turn left and follow the road with the public gardens on your right
- after 300 meters take the first road that goes right uphill to Via dell’Oriolo (immediately after UniCredit Bank and ACI) and follow the signs to the P6 (car park number 6)
- after about 150 meters turn right and enter the parking lot P6 in Via delle Case Nuove, 20 meters ahead take the first left.
At the end of the road uphill you’ll arrive in an open space plan and you are in front of the entrance to the parking lot.

The parking spaces for Palace Carletti’s guests are marked with a P blue sign and are on your right hand side.

At that point, leaving the car park behind you, climb the short staircase leading to Via dell’Opio nel Corso, Palazzo Carletti is on your left where you’ll see a waving a white flag with the logo of Palazzo Carletti.

Driving from Rome (A1, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme):

Highway A1, exit Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.
Turn left (towards Chianciano Terme and Montepulciano).
Once in Chianciano Terme, follow the signs for Montepulciano.
About 4 km after the village of Sant’Albino, you’ll arrive at the junction to Pienza-Montepulciano-San Biagio.
Follow the following steps:
- turn right and then left, taking the road uphill towards parking and P6-P7
- after 150mt you will drive over 2 speed bumps and arrive at P7 (car park 7)
- pass through the parking lot P7 and after 50 mt turn left into the parking lot P6 in Via delle Case Nuove, 20 meters ahead take the first left.
At the end of the road uphill you’ll arrive in an open space plan and you are in front of the entrance to the parking lot.

BY TRAIN

Chiusi station. There is a taxi rank at the station and a number of buses for Montepulciano. From Montepulciano bus station take the bus for the historic centre (centro storico T1), also known as "Pollicino" stops just a few metres from Palazzo Carletti (ask for the Chiesa del Gesù stop).
